Deduplication is the process of systematically identifying duplicate records of a customer from errors and variations in each parameter. It is performed as part of PDQS where the duplicate records are processed resulting in a master database that has unique records of all customers. PDQS forms the foundation for advanced solutions such as clustering, identifying a complete profile of customer from partial database environments.
